As 2014 once again comes to an end…it’s that time to pick my top 10 movies of the year as always I have a lot to pick from which makes it pretty hard…. but after some thought I have made my list. As always these are my picks!!! They might not be the highest rated or best reviewed but the ones I enjoyed best!! 2014 sure had some good ones I will have some honorable mentions and some that will defiantly be nominated for Oscars. With that being said let’s get started “and here we go!”

Some of the critically acclaimed films such as The Imitation Game, Theory of everything I didn’t have a chance to watch them, which I will watch during the 24hour best picture showcase. I will then make my Oscars predictions.

I cant wait to hear how the audition went...I cant wait for you to succeed...and take Hollywood by storm!

Tomorrow is one of the biggest days for you its the day that could be the start of the reminder of your life and begin what I've seen in my dreams and I know will happen and that is that of people seeing the tons of talent and attributes that you posses... you are finally getting an opportunity to express it and show it..I hate that I wont be able to share it with you but that doesn't mean I wont be there with you...because all that will be on my mind will be what has always been on my mind since the day I laid my eyes on you and that's you...my vibes and my prayers will be aimed towards you and I know you will knock it out of the park...its time for people to see the talent and get ready...get ready to never forget the name of HOLLAND LONG...cause I know I never will...

With anotheryear of great films comes the time to make the Oscars picks…. Now as every yeargoes by I have grown to think like the academy which means you don’t go withthe films we ourselves love or like… but we go with the ones that have Oscarbait and have been doing well during all the award season…most of the time thatmeans the beast do win…yet as always we have some snubs but this year we have agood bunch of films to choose from with that being said here are my picks…..

Best motion picture of the year 
 (***Ones I really liked) Thisyear we had great films to pick from and they sure made a great list of nominees…withthat being said this list alone has 2 films that I put on my top 10 of 2013(Wolf and Gravity) both awesome films which I loved…until recently I thought itwas an easy win for 12 years of slave (which I haven’t seen) but Dallas buyersclub has lots of momentum…I think it can be the only one to give 12 years a runfor it money but I will stay with my pick…..

Now hereit can go in 2 ways the favorite is clearly Miss Lawrence and rightfully so…shewas the best if not the only thing I liked from Hustle…plus the academy lovesher and if she wins she will youngest and first girl to win back to back whichmeans it sells papers but she would gladly deserving of that win…however Lupitafrom 12 years of slave has been cleaning house on the other awards shows andfrom what I hear she owns that performance…this one is a hard one I am going togo against the momentum and go with…
